Description
The Patient Transport Department at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) currently utilises an analogue two-way radio system for communication between vehicles and the office. Patient Transport vehicles mainly travel within a 30 km radius of SCGH however they are sometimes required to travel further afield. To meet the communication requirements of the Patient Transport Department in regards to operational and logistical performance throughout the metropolitan area there is a requirement for a Secure Digital Communications system, including GPS tracking and ancillary equipment.
The finalisation of works is time critical and must be completed by the 30th of October 2013 when the analogue signal will be switched off.
