Description

The Department of Health and Ageing is seeking tenders from suitably qualified individuals and organisations to form a Panel of Providers of Health Economics Services.

The role of Panel members will be to provide health economics services to the Health and Ageing Portfolio as required.

The type of health economics services required may include economic evaluation of health programs, modelling of health programs, health system financing, health workforce planning, priority setting, and regulatory impact statements. The services provided will be used to ensure that the development and implementation of the Department?s policies and programs have a suitable evidence base.

The Panel will comprise individuals and/or organisations with expertise and experience in wide-ranging areas of health economics, as well as niche areas of interest. The Panel will operate from 2006-2008. No additional members will be included on the Panel in the next 2 years after this selection process.
