Invitation to Offer (ITO) No. AQ 042/2022 Provision of Horticultural Services

Suppliers are invited by the State of Queensland acting through the Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy represented by Arts Queensland (the Customer) to submit an offer for ITO No. AQ 042/2022 for the provision of Horticultural Services for the Customer’s properties located at Queensland Cultural Centre (QCC), Fortitude Valley - Festival House and Judith Wright Arts Centre (JWAC) and Cairns - Bulmba-ja.

The objective of the Horticulture Services Contract is to provide and make available specialised services to the State’s flagship cultural institutions to ensure that facilities are presented to a high standard, fit-for-purpose and use, and compliant for activities delivered by all cultural institutions and arts and cultural tenants.

The Customer is seeking competitive offers from companies with demonstrated experience in working on a live 24/7 government Site(s) including Arts Queensland owned QCC, Fortitude Valley properties ie. Festival House and Judith Wright Arts Centre and Bulmba-ja that understand the ongoing complexities of undertaking works at cultural facilities whilst ensuring minimal disruption to the day-to-day operational needs of the tenant(s).

The Customer intends to appoint one (1) Supplier to undertake the Services for the duration of the Contract Term. Suppliers shall, in their offer, detail how their Services will align to the Customer’s commitment to the Queensland procurement strategies detailed in the ITO. The Customer’s detailed Requirements are included in AQ 042/2022 Part B ITO Attachment C Horticultural Services Specification (Final).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Mandatory attendance to the Industry Briefing and Site Inspection apply to this ITO. Any Supplier who does not attend will not be eligible to submit an Offer for evaluation.
