Whole of Economy Emissions Modelling

The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for developing a whole of economy model and accompanying analysis, improving the Queenslands Government's modelling capability. It includes

• provide a whole of economy emissions model that will handle macro-economic inputs and intersect with sector emissions models
• Accept inputs and provide outputs for complimentary sector models
• model baseline emissions to 2030, 2040 and 2050
• model abatement from the existing suite of Queensland Government initiatives
• abatement modelling for proposed new initiatives
• training and support on using the model

It does not include making recommendations for optimal suites of abatement actions.
