Cleaning Services for the Queensland Academy of Sport

Sport and Recreation (S&R) is a division within the Department of Housing and Public Works. The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is an initiative of the Queensland Government acting through S&R aimed at supporting the state's elite and identified developing athletes.

This procurement process aims to identify a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to provide cleaning services for the QAS premises, with an anticipated contract commencement date of 14 October 2019.

The procurement process is undertaken in two stages.

Stage 1 - Expression of Interest

• Responses are sought through public tender to identify suppliers that have the capability and experience to provide cleaning services for QAS. The shortlisted suppliers will be invited to progress to Stage 2.

Stage 2 - Request for Quote

• Respondent shortlisted through Stage 1 will be issued with further documentation to provide costed proposal for the cleaning services. All shortlisted respondents are expected to attend the inspection in order to submit detailed prices. The site inspection is scheduled for Thursday, 5 September 2019. Further details will be provided to the shortlisted respondents at notification of shortlisting.
