Panel for Health Management Advisory, Organisational Review and/or Governance and Service Delivery Management Services

The Department of Health and Ageing (the Department), through the Office for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health is continuing to develop and provide support mechanisms that assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health services, particularly those that may struggle to meet corporate governance and government funding requirements or community expectations of a quality health service. The Department aims, among other things, to strengthen service development and delivery, maximise corporate governance, and develop general business and management capabilities.

The Department has identified a need for a panel to provide Health Management Advisory Services and/or Organisational Review Services and/or Governance and Service Delivery Management Services to organisations funded by the Office for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Health, where there is demonstrated evidence that an organisation’s capacity to effectively and/or efficiently deliver funded services is limited or at risk, or where organisations in the Health Service Delivery Area are undergoing or planning to undergo regional reform.

The successful tenderers will be on the panel for three years with the option for the Department to extend the term for an additional two years.

The panel will be established through an open tender process and all suppliers who meet the stated conditions for participation will be considered in the assessment of tenderers.

The Department may allow panel users to purchase directly from the panel member of their choice and where the Department determines that it is not necessary to seek competitive quotes, direct engagement of panel members may be appropriate.
