Provision of Services for the establishment and ongoing management of the Western Australian Regional Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer Program

Offers are invited from suitably experienced incorporated ‘not for profit’ Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) to establish and maintain the Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer program, and the implementation of community-endorsed activities. The Request services are required to be delivered in the following WA Health Regions:

Kimberley , Midwest, Wheatbelt, Goldfields, Pilbara, Great Southern, South West, and North Metro Perth, South Metro Perth, and East Metro Perth.

COVID-19

On Sunday, 31 January 2021, the WA Government announced a five-day lockdown of non-essential services until 6pm, Friday 5 February 2021. The Mental Health Commission (MHC) is aware that potential Respondents to this Request operate in the health and wellbeing sphere and need to prioritise the needs of their respective communities ahead of any tender process. Therefore, the MHC will communicate and work with potential Respondents to ensure that preparation of a response to the Request does not place unnecessary burden on an organisation and its staff during this time. This may result in extending the closing date of the Request or temporarily withdrawing the Request from the market if the lockdown persists beyond this week.
