Description

The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER; the Customer) requires a suitable provider to carry out an airborne electromagnetic (AEM) survey. The proposed AEM survey will run from Bullsbrook Nature Reserve and Ellenbrook, north of Perth, to Preston Beach and Waroona south of Perth. It extends approximately 130 kilometres from north to south and 30 kilometres from east to west, covering an area of 5,600 km2 as shown in Figure 1.

It is estimated the contractor will fly approximately 6,000 kilometres, using a 600-800 m east to west line spacing and a 5 – 8 km north to south line spacing.

The Request requirements include:

  • Planning of the geophysical survey setup based on the proposed spacing above;
  • Collection of airborne geophysical data;
  • Survey acquisition report; and
  • Supply of all raw and processed datasets in digital format.

The Customer is seeking the most suitable provider for the entire contract.
