Description
The Track and Civil office of the Public Transport Authority is responsible for maintaining the safety
and serviceability of track and station infrastructure within the Urban Rail Network as part of this
responsibility a “Rail Grinding Strategy” is to be implemented in order to extend the usable life of
track and vehicle assets. The Contractor shall be required to provide rail grinding Services to the extent of the Urban Rail
Network (Armadale, Fremantle, Midland, Mandurah and Joondalup lines – including section lines to
Robb’s Jetty, Mundijong Junction and Thornlie).
