Description
The Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) requires the services of an on site bookshop to support the academic undergraduate and postgraduate programs delivered for Australian Defence personnel.
The Commonwealth is offering a contract from May 2012 until 31 December 2015 with two options for extension of three years each.
The ADFA Bookshop provides access to textbooks and other materials to Midshipmen, Officer Cadets and the broader ADFA community. Bookshop services have been provided on site since the facility was first established and are a core function of the retail services provided at ADFA.
The shop operates between the hours of 0900 and 1700 Monday to Friday, excluding specified holiday periods.
The core function of the Bookshop is to provide:
- Textbooks and other supporting materials as defined annually by the lecturers from ADFA, as core requirements for Midshipmen, Officer Cadets and Advance Students to support their relevant degree studies.
- All textbooks at the beginning of each semester in sufficient quantities to support the expected number of students per degree stream.
- A range of recommended reading materials which supports the relevant degree streams studies at ADFA.
