PNSW Valuation Services is the sole NSW agency responsible for the administration of the Valuation of Land Act 1916 and the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991 on behalf of the Valuer-General. This includes providing valuation services, for rating and taxing purposes, comprising of the following: All activities necessary to determine the land value each year of all land in NSW potentially liable to pay land tax and Council rates; Recording this in the Register of Land Values
