Description
The Department of Youth Justice (DYJ) is seeking to establish a Cultural Mentoring service in Townsville to enhance the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth. This service will provide a trusted adult mentor who promotes a positive experience as a role model towards a young person’s attitude and behaviour to foster a deeper understanding of family, kin, culture and spirituality.
The DYJ is sourcing for a First Nations led Supplier with an existing relationship with the First Nations community of Townsville, including Elders and Traditional Owners.
