The objective of this performance audit is to assess whether Tasmania’s State road network is being effectively and efficiently managed and maintained.
The audit will examine whether:
• Planning for maintenance, remediation and upgrade of the State road network is effective?
• State road assets are effectively and efficiently managed?
• State Growth has procurement activities that ensure contracts provide value for money?
The only State entity that will be included within the scope of the audit is State Growth.
