Recent investigations have determined that the show courts at BBC have suffered critical structural damage affecting the safe use of the courts for high performance basketball training and games. The surface deflection is in excess of 25mm in some areas, well over the maximum tolerance required by FIBA for safe basketball training and games. The shock absorbing system has failed and needs to be replaced.
