Description
The Department of National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing is inviting offers for the provision of co-ordinated and enhanced volunteering services and voluntourism opportunities in Queensland’s national parks, State forests and other reserves. It is anticipated that a variety of services could be delivered to the department through volunteering and/or voluntourism models, including (but not limited to):
Recreation services;
Visitor services;
Campground hosting and caretaker programs;
Park maintenance projects;
Wildlife, heritage and conservation management services; and
Establishing Friends of Parks groups.
