Review of complex trauma treatment options and development of workforce resources and a directory of treatment providers

This procurement is related to the Commonwealth Redress Scheme for survivors of institutional child sexual abuse. As part of the psychological counselling component of the Commonwealth Redress Scheme, the successful Tenderer will be required to review the existing literature and provide a report on the effectiveness of treatments for complex trauma, including effective treatment options for people who have experienced child sexual abuse and workforce support activities for mental health professionals. A directory of mental health professionals that practice trauma informed care will also be made available based on recommendations from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
