Request for Tender for the Provision of Network Task Chairs and Front of House Seating

Human Services is seeking to establish a standing offer arrangement with one or more suppliers for the supply, delivery and installation of network task chairs and front of house seating (Seating).
Provision of the Requirement may be required for any of the network of sites used by Human Services anywhere throughout Australia. A list of sites (current as at 06 February 2014) is at Schedule 6.
Seating is defined in the following categories as:
- task chairs;
- visitors’ and occasional sled based chairs; and
- tub chairs.
Tenderers must be able to supply the whole Requirement (including all categories of Seating) to any of the network of sites used by Human Services anywhere throughout Australia. The Requirement will also include, from time to time, design and manufacture of customised and purpose built seating (generally for customer waiting areas), in accordance with the Deed. Tenderers must be able to supply these services.
Further details of the Requirement are set out in the Statement of Requirement at Schedule 1, the Seating Requirements at Schedule 2, Attachment C, Appendix A and Human Services' Sites List at Schedule 6.
The following items are not within the scope of this RFT:
- special needs chairs, i.e. chairs required for individual staff members as a result of workplace health assessments;
- loose furnishings; and
- workstations
