Description

Airborne Gravity Services in two areas in the north of Western Australia:

  1. The Tanami–King Leopold project area of about 110 000 km² extends approximately from the Billiluna region near the border with the Northern Territory to Derby in the west.

  2. The Kidson project area of about 155 000 km² covers parts of the Gibson and Great Sandy Deserts.

The objectives of both projects are the collection of gravity data at 5 km or shorter wavelength resolution to help characterise key regional geological elements of the regions. To this end, GA requires, for each region, a Supplier to conduct airborne gravity operations to obtain the fundamental data.

In delivering the Services, the Supplier(s) will provide all equipment and personnel necessary to conduct the geophysical surveys.
