- Single circuit transmission line with ~250MVA of power transfer capacity, including 2 x overhead fibre OPGW;
- 1 x 220 / 33kV substation comprising of 1 bay (circuit) of 220kV hybrid switchgear, 9 circuits of 33kV distribution and BOP infrastructure; and
- Extension of existing 220 / 33kV Solomon substation to cater for the transmission line connection - Additional 220kV gas insulated bay with all secondary systems
Indicative Timeline:
Procurement of poles, transmission lines, conductors and OPGW from August 2023.
Construction of earthworks and civils from Q4 2023
Construction of transmission lines from Q1 2024.
Construction of substations from Q1 2024.
