Cleaning services contract

The Office of the Official Secretary to the Governor-General is seeking to engage a suitably qualified, resourced and experienced service provider to undertake office cleaning services at Government House, Canberra, ACT, and Admiralty House, Sydney New South Wales.
Regular maintenance cleaning will be required in the majority of office areas of both properties. The areas required for cleaning are as follows:
• Government House, Canberra, ACT = approximately 2675sqm
• Admiralty House, Sydney, NSW = approximately 750sqm
As Required Services will be optional to price, and will be by arrangement only (to be undertaken on an as needs basis only).
The general office cleaning Services will primarily consist of cleaning in offices, kitchens, bathrooms, and some bedrooms, meeting rooms, corridors and various other locations.
The Services are required for a period of 3 years from the signing of the contract with the option of up to 2 years of extensions. This extension period to the contract may not be taken up by the Office.
The acceptable cleaning standard (or performance standard) required will result in an absence of visible soil, streaks, smears, stains, dust, dirt, litter and cobwebs on the cleaned surfaces and surrounds.
