Supply and Installation of Transperth Real Time Tracking and Dynamic Stand Management Systems

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) seeks tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for the supply of:

1. a Real Time Tracking System (RTTS) for the Transperth Bus fleet including Traffic Signal Priority (TSP);
2. a Dynamic Stand Management System (DSMS) for Wellington Street Underground Bus Station (WSUBS);
3. Optionally an Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system that is integrated with the RTTS.

The impetus for delivery of the RTTS and DSMS system has arisen as a consequence of the design requirements for the new WSUBS. This facility forms a key element of the Perth CityLink project, which will replace the existing Wellington Street Bus Station (WSBS). WSUBS is being constructed as an Underground Bus station with 16 Bus Stands and 25 Layover Stands.

The DSMS will facilitate the projected future growth in the number of Buses using the facility beyond what would normally be achievable using a static Bus Stand arrangement. Further information on the Perth CityLink project can be found at www.perthcitylink.wa.gov.au.
