Procurement of Ride-On Scrubber - Kewdale Prospector Depot

Rolling stock maintenance activities rely on the use of a wide variety of fixed and mobile plant and equipment. Large sections, of flooring at the Kewdale depot require cleaning to remove debris including dust, dirt, small metal items, coolants, oils and greases, on a routine basis. Currently, the depot lacks specialised equipment for scrubbing and drying large floor areas in the workspaces in a timelier manner as only a hand-held floor scrubber, designed to clean small areas, is available for use at present. The PTA is seeking to acquire a Ride-On Scrubber to effectively clean large floor spaces in the depot work areas, which include both outdoor and sheltered sections. The flooring conditions may vary between wet and dry, influenced by weather and recent service and repair activities. Additionally, the Scrubber must be capable of handling surfaces with significant cracks or grout lines.
