Request for Proposal – Launch into Work Employer Panel 2022-28

The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (the department) is seeking responses from employers interested in being members of the Launch into Work Employer Panel.

Launch into Work Employer Panel Members will use Launch into Work pre-employment projects to recruit at least 30 eligible job seekers per year into vacant entry-level roles within their organisation.

All Launch into Work projects are co-designed with the department and tailored to the entry-level roles being filled. They include the training, practical activities in the workplace and mentoring necessary to build the skills and confidence of participants so they can transition into employment in the organisation.

The Launch into Work Program targets female and disadvantaged job seekers, however anyone over 18 years and in Workforce Australia, Transition to Work or ParentsNext provider services can participate. Participants need to demonstrate they want to work for the employer and have a genuine interest in the role and industry. Participants are selected based on their suitability to meet the requirements of the role and culture of the organisation and any other role specific eligibility requirements (such as police checks or medical clearances) – not their existing skills and experience.

The Request for Proposal (RFP) sets out the service requirements for the Launch into Work Employer Panel, as well as information on how to respond, the selection criteria and the evaluation process.
