Description
(a) Category 1: Economic Advisory Services; and
(b) Category 2: Technical Advisory Services.
Services required include economic and technical advice to assist the ERA in the performance of its functions under various Acts that include, but are not limited to the:
• Economic Regulation Authority Act 2003;
• Electricity Industry Act 2004;
• Energy Coordination Act 1994;
• National Gas Access (WA) Act 2009;
• Railways (Access) Act 1998; and
• Water Services Licensing Act 1995.
The ERA makes its decisions independent of industry, Government, or other interests and is not subject to State or Ministerial direction in carrying out its regulatory or inquiry functions. As such all information must be performed with the highest level of diligence and applied expertise.
