Description

The Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP), is seeking an experienced Program Manager to provide technical advice on carbon storage and provide oversight of proposed research programs for carbon storage in the southern Perth Basin.

The Program Manager will be required to liaise with DMP staff and provide input to DMP’s proposed stratigraphic drilling and data analysis program in the southern Perth Basin. In addition, the Program Manager will be required to report to Australian National Low Emissions Coal Research and Development (ANLEC R&D) identifying and/or recognising those project needs that reduce investment risk and are best addressed through research.

It is expected that the services will be the equivalent of 2 x 8 hour days per week.

While DMP will provide a desk at its Bunbury offices it is not expected that all work will be provided from this location.
