Prospector and Australind Diesel Engine Overhaul and Servicing

Description
The Public Transport Authority’s (PTA) has a requirement for the:
- Engine Overhaul;
- Major Mid-Life servicing; and
- Call Out Support Services,
for the Cummins engines used by the PTA in their regional passenger railcars, the Prospector and the Australind.
It is expected that all twenty (20) Prospector and seven (7) Australind engines will be overhauled.Once overhauled the contractor would be required to perform a mid-life service on each engine when they become due.During the life of the engine and before the next overhaul the contractor will provide a call out support service for all engines.
Overhaul, servicing and the call out support service of the Prospector and Australind engines are to be undertaken and managed by the Contractor with direction from the Rollingstock Engineering Contract Manager or their delegate.
