Description
The Department of Justice (Department) conducts staff and prisoner drug testing in accordance with the Prison Act 1981 and Prison Regulations 1982.
The Department requires:
- a continuous supply of self-contained urine testing cups which are capable of providing an ‘instant’ (within 10 minutes) presumptive result, which can be split into two separate samples to be tested at a laboratory if a positive result is indicated;
- a continuous supply of self-contained instant oral fluid kits; and
- laboratory transport kits urine samples and oral fluid.
