Supply of Approved Signalling Products & Technical Services (Frauscher)

The Respondent is responsible for the supply of type approved Axle Counting Systems, Wheel Sensors, original spare parts and technical support. The PTA will provide a list of the Axle Counting and Wheel Sensor, Original Spare parts products which will form a product catalogue for PTA’s inventory. PTA will have the flexibility to add additional products as technology advances and currently utilised equipment is superseded. Product additions will be managed as per PTA’s Type Approval Process. The Respondent must supply signalling equipment and ancillary components in accordance with agreed Type Approval specifications. The Respondent will supply new proposed signalling items to PTA for Type Approval assessment. PTA will provide the Respondent with any applicable PTA drawings, specifications, and procedures, that they don’t already have, to assist in the supply of these items. In addition to the Supply and delivery an option for technical support services is requested for all technical inquires relating to products and systems purchased as part of this request. The Contractor may be required to provide practical on-site and/or virtual railway training on the Axle Counting Systems and Wheel Sensor as agreed between PTA and the Contractor.
