Design and Construct Service Water Tank

Gippsland Water invite contractors experienced in designing and construction of custom large diameter wastewater storage tanks to provide details of their expertise to replace an existing 99kL pre-bolted steel tank at Gippsland Water Factory. The existing storage tank was constructed back in 2008 and is now close to replacement. The tank receives domestic filtrate from the facility, which is then mixed with 12.5% sodium hypochlorite to achieve minimum contact time using internal tank baffles before recirculated for supply.

Gippsland Water is intending to proceed to a tender for design and construction of replacement tank in the coming months. The organisation seeks to gain a more detailed understanding of the supplier market and range of solutions that may be available. Hence, this EOI process may be the first stage of a multi‑stage procurement process. Respondents to this EOI are to review the attached drawings and information regarding the existing service water tank and submit the Part C – Invitees Response if interested.
