Description

AUSTRAC is seeking a new FMIS to meet both the general business and reporting requirements of a contemporary medium sized federal government agency regulated amongst other things by the Commonwealth Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997.

The high level functionality and core attributes required from the FMIS are as follows:

FUNCTIONALITY
a) accrual and cash based recording and reporting capabilities
b) budget modelling and funds control capabilities;
c) asset recording and management capabilities;
d) integrated and comprehensive Human Resource Management and Information System (HRMIS);
e) procurement and accounts payable;
f) accounts receivable
g) travel management capabilities;
h) contract reporting and management capabilities
i) interface capabilities;
j) customisable and flexible reporting
k) customisable workflow modules
l) internal control environment; and

CORE ATTRIBUTES
a) efficient response time multi-user and location access
b) scalability
c) robustness
d) multi-dimensional reporting
e) seamless integration (accurate and reliable automated transfer of information between the FMIS and other corporate systems)
f) flexibility to adapt to changing needs
g) executive information system (EIS) capability or seamless integration with an EIS
