Description

The Department of Finance (Finance) has established a Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) coordinated procurement arrangement for Automotive Leasing and Fleet Management Services, referred to as the Fleet Arrangement.

The Commonwealth’s objectives for the Fleet Arrangement is to establish a dynamic, innovative and flexible arrangement that provides the Commonwealth and participating entities with highly effective, value for money fleet services. These objectives include ensuring transparency in remuneration and pricing, maintaining consistent processes and service quality across all participants, improving business outcomes through the adoption of emerging technologies, facilitating compliance with Government policy and legislation, supporting budget management and safeguarding data privacy.

The Fleet Arrangement is mandatory for all Non-Corporate Commonwealth Entities (NCEs). Other Government entities such as Corporate Commonwealth Entities (CCEs), Government Business Enterprise (GBEs) and Commonwealth Companies (CCs), Australian State and Territory Governments and Local Governments may opt into the Fleet Arrangement subject to the approval of Finance.
