Description
The Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS) will be conducting a state-wide characterization of mine waste materials specifically for the purpose of understanding their potential to host battery and critical mineral by-products. A portable X-ray Florescence spectrometer (pXRF) will provide first pass elemental information and assist with sample selection during field-based campaigns.
