For the provision of services associated with revaluation of asset base and leasehold make good provision

The department has approximately 236,000 Departmental assets with a book value of $844 million. The assets are located in:

•The Australian Capital Territory; and

•Regional Service Zones.

The department wishes to engage a service provider to undertake valuation services for a range of Commonwealth assets being:

•Land and buildings

•Leasehold improvements and make-good provision

•Desktop PC’s

•ICT monitors

•Laptop and mobile devices

•Connectivity (data communication)

•ICT mainframe equipment

•ICT midrange equipment

•ICT storage equipment

•General plant and equipment

•Furniture and fittings

•Audio visual, office and communications

•Printers

•General computer equipment

This process may include the physical inspection of the assets.

The service provider will be required to provide a formal written valuation report to the department that complies with Australian Accounting Standards (AAS) and Commonwealth Entity Financial Reporting Rule made under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) and providing any necessary supporting documentation that may be required to substantiate the valuation.
