Request for Installation and Maintenance of Swing Moorings

The Department of Transport (DoT) manages private and public swing moorings state-wide within its jurisdiction. DoT seeks to provide safe accessible mooring facilities in all Mooring Control Areas which ensures that all infrastructure is installed and maintained to safe and fit for purpose standard and works are conducted in accordance with Commonwealth and State statutory requirements and/or relevant Australia Standards/equivalent.

DoT requires a Contractor to provide:

1. 1. Annual general mooring inspection and maintenance services at DoT’s current and future sites;
   2. Urgent servicing/maintenance (as and when required) at DoT’s current and potential future sites;
   3. Supply and Installation or removal and disposal of mooring apparatus in State Navigable Waters under DoT’s jurisdiction;
   4. Towing of vessels; and
   5. Other related mooring activities.
