Platypus Replacement Slit Project

i.Option 1: Four sets of four-axis neutron slit blades including B₄C slit blades ( S1, S2, S3, and S4) according to the higher design motion control specifications in Table 2;

ii.Option 2: Four sets of four-axis neutron slit blades including B₄C slit blades ( S1, S2, S3, and S4) according to the lower design motion control specifications in Table 3;

iii.Two sets adjustable mounts for slit assemblies S1 and S2 with Y-axis and Z-axis manual adjustments to interface to the existing S1 and S2 bases installed on the CG3 Reflectometer neutron beam line as per the specifications in this document;

iv.Two sets of slit tower interfaces for slit assemblies S3 and S4 to interface to the existing slit towers installed on the CG3 neutron beam line as per the specifications in this document

v.Detailed general arrangement drawings and 3D electronic models as indicated;

vi.Slit package holding structures with adjustments and frame work with Keyence sensor holding frames, vertical and horizontal adjustment, and support bracketing in order to support two Keyence 9006 sensors side by side as specified in this document for the slit frame packages to enable the Factory Acceptance Testing as per Section 11 of the specification; ( Remains the property of supplier).

vii.The pre-FAT Test results as per section 11.7 of the specification;

viii.FAT testing on site for up to three weeks by ANSTO staff;

ix.Spare parts as indicated shipped at same time as the four slit blade assemblies;

x.Packaging and delivery to site
