Description
The Department of Youth Justice (DYJ) is seeking to establish a culturally responsive pilot program for young people with suspected or diagnosed neurodevelopmental disabilities who are in contact with the youth justice system including those interacting with Courts and Police.
DYJ is sourcing a Supplier to deliver a culturally responsive service that will work with young people with suspected or diagnosed neurodevelopment disabilities and their families to support the young person’s access to appropriate services (including diagnostic services) to address their disability needs, particularly those disability needs that may contribute to their risk of reoffending.
The aim of the service is to improve and increase service responses for young people with suspected or diagnosed neurodevelopmental disability, identified through contact with services including early action groups, court, police and youth justice.
