Description

The Customer is seeking to review the State Environmental (Cockburn Sound) Policy 2015 (the SEP 2015) by 30 June 2027. The SEP 2015 includes the objective “Maintenance of indigenous cultural and spiritual values, such that the cultural and spiritual values of the local indigenous community are protected” and as such is seeking to procure engagement services from Traditional Custodians to help support the review of the policy. The Whadjuk Aboriginal Corporation, as per the South West Native Title Settlement, is the prescribed body corporate representing the Whadjuk people, the native title holders of the Perth metropolitan region and part of the Cockburn Sound, as per the Whadjuk Indigenous Land Use Agreement (2022).
