Description
To provide a new hydraulic power supply (HPS) to the Structural Test Laboratory in Building 41 at Defence Science and Technology Group Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
The existing HPS was installed in 1989 and needs to be replaced.
It is planned the upgrade will be carried out in two stages, Part A and Part B.
Part A is the removal of the existing 720 litre per minute system and any building preparation works to the pump room and switchboard. The building preparation work includes; disconnect, removal and install floor grate on hydraulic trenches. The supply, installation and commissioning of an 800 litre per minute 21 MPa hydraulic oil supply with control system.
Part B is a future expansion plan to extend the system to 1200 litre per minute.
