Pilbara Community Alcohol and Other Drug Service

DAO is seeking to partner with an organisation to deliver alcohol and other drug prevention and treatment services tailored to promote the health and wellbeing of individuals, families and communities affected by alcohol and other drug use in the Pilbara region.

Services will have an impact upon the individual, their family or significant other, and community through achievement of the following outcomes:
I. Reduction of alcohol and drug related harm.

II. Improvement in wellbeing including physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing.

III. Improvement in attitude, knowledge, skills and understanding of strategies to reduce the adverse effects of alcohol and other drug use.
IV. Improvement in relationships, appropriate interactions and engagement in the broader community.
V. Improvement in circumstances and life condition in areas such as housing, education and employment.
