RFQ0007 - Gympie & Coastal Sites Red Lion HMI Upgrade Works

Quotations are invited from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to implement a robust and reliable SCADA system for the Gympie Regional Council (the Council) to monitor and operate the water and sewerage assets in the GRC’s entire Regions.

The existing GRC’s ClearSCADA software systems at both Gympie and the Coastal Regions: Cooloola Cove/Rainbow Beach are not up to date and their maintenance support has not been renewed in the last few years. They also need to be updated to the latest version of ClearSCADA.

The existing Red Lion HMIs at Gympie, Cooloola Cove, Rainbow Beach and Tin Can Bay Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) do not provide all features and functions expected from a dedicated SCADA system and up to date supervisory control and monitoring of these STPs are not currently in place.

Gympie STP has the same issue with a Red Lion HMI and the project is to convert the Red Lion HMI to ClearSCADA at all sites.
