Offers are invited by the State of Queensland (acting through the Department of Justice and Attorney-General) in relation to Invitation to Offer (ITO) No. 448.1617 for the establishment of a Contract for Victim Services Stream 1 - Trauma-informed counselling.

Victim Assist Queensland (VAQ) is an administrative arm of the Department of Justice and Attorney-General (DJAG). VAQ administers a financial assistance scheme for victims of violent crime, leads the coordination of the victims service sector in Queensland and administer the Victim Services Funding Program.

The Victim Services Funding Program has an annual commitment of $3.14 million over the 2017-2020 period for the delivery of six service streams of support for victims of violent crime.

This Invitation to Offer is seeking applications through Service Stream 1, for trauma informed counselling and support for victims of crime across Queensland to help get their lives back on track.
