Geotechnical Investigations - Perth City Link Bus Project

The Public Transport Authority of WA (PTA) requires additional geotechnical investigations for the Perth City Link Bus Project, Perth. The site within which investigation is required is within the existing Wellington Street bus Station, on Wellington Street, Perth. Key aspects of the Perth City Link Bus Project relating to this scope of work include demolition of the existing bus station and construction of a new underground bus station of approximate dimensions 200m long by 50m wide and 7m deep below ground with a concrete roof at ground level and deep foundation works including bored piles and/or barrettes socketed into Kings Park Formation basement rock as pre-work for foundation support of the forthcoming Link Project redeveloping the land above and adjacent to the new underground bus station, to be undertaken by the Metropolitan Planning Authority (MRA).
