Description
The Department of Planning, as the Customer, is seeking the services of suitably qualified and experienced respondent to prepare the Mid West Economic and Employment Strategy report.
The preparation of the Mid West Economic and Employment Strategy is considered to be a priority, to provide strategic support for regional planning in the Mid West region.
The Mid West region comprises 17 local governments and is nearly half a million square kilometres, which is approximately one fifth of the area of Western Australia. The Mid West region has an existing resident population of around 55,584 (ABS, 2011), generally concentrated in the coastal areas around Geraldton.
