WA Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation
Net Zero Supply Chain Study
Details
Description
As Western Australia’s lead agency for economic development, the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation (JTSI) plays a key role in supporting the Western Australian Climate Policy and the orderly transition of industry to a low carbon economy.
As Western Australia progresses towards net zero emissions, it is essential for the State Government and industry to have a shared understanding of critical supply chains for essential technologies and infrastructure to support decarbonization of Western Australia’s heavy industry, together with associated supply chain risks, opportunities, barriers and potential options to support secure and diverse supply chains for heavy industry decarbonization.
JTSI is seeking to appoint a consultant(s) to undertake a Net Zero Supply Chain Study (the Study). The Study aims to identify and map critical supply chains to achieve the decarbonization of heavy industry aligned with Western Australia’s target of net zero by 2050, and to assess the associated risks, opportunities and barriers, with findings to be delivered in a written report.
