ScreenWest is Western Australia's screen funding and development agency, committed to working in partnership with the screen industry to develop, support and promote film, television and digital media production in Western Australia.
ScreenWest receives funding from the State Government and Lotterywest. The promotional trailer aims to convey to its funding partners and the wider community the value of its work and its success stories.
ScreenWest produced a promotional trailer in 2005 and again in 2008. Both trailers contained clips of WA-made productions which could be replaced, thereby ensuring the trailer content remained up-to-date. This also expanded the life of the trailer. The 2008 trailer included some locations footage (provided by Tourism WA) and conveyed the variety of screens that WA productions can be viewed on (e.g. cinema, television, portable devices, personal computers).
ScreenWest now requires a new promotional trailer that will remain relevant for at least two years.
