Description

The existing Midland Line Main Cable Route between Meltham Station and Ashfield Station contains railway communications cables that are critical to the safe operation of the rail system.

The relocation of communications cables from this existing cable route is required to accommodate the Bayswater Station Upgrade Projects amended track layout, and to facilitate the commencement of of ground improvement, station construction and the Bridge works.

The Scope of Works shall include:

  • New Main Cable Route (Pit and Pipe)
  • Gas Pipe Cable Route; and
  • New Cable Works
