Description
The Department of Financial and Deregulation (Finance) is seeking offers from organisations with the capacity and capability to provide financial reporting and accounting services to Finance.
Finance is required to produce all the financial statements and associated tables for a number of financial and budget documents for the Australian Government. The successful Tenderer will assist Finance in these tasks.
Finance consolidates all updates of the Budget, produces budget financial data published by the Australian Government such as the Mid-Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook and Final Budget Outcome, and prepares and publishes the Australian Government’s monthly and annual consolidated financial statements.
Under the Charter of Budget Honesty Act 1998 Finance is required to produce financial statements that comply with both the Australian Accounting Standards and the Australian Bureau of Statistics Government Finance Statistics.
