WA North Metropolitan Health Service
Patient Experience Survey - Cancer
Details
Description
The Western Australia Cancer and Palliative Care Network Clinical Implementation Unit (WACPCN CIU) is a state-wide service based at North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS). It has the responsibility of delivering priorities of the WA Cancer Plan. WACPCN CIU intend to commission this well validated cancer consumer survey as part of its engagement strategy recognising patient experience as one pillar of sustainability. It is well known that consumer and clinician engagement through partnership is recognised as the most effective and enduring catalyst for sustainable change (SHR, 2019)
WACPCN CIU is seeking a suitably qualified respondent to undertake a patient experience survey to 10,000 Western Australian’s across the whole state (inclusive of metropolitan and rural areas) who were diagnosed with cancer in 2017. The proposal is that the survey be undertaken via the use of a tool developed by All Can (http://www.all-can.org/patientsurvey-en/what-is-this-survey-for/). The successful respondent would need to work closely with a group of key stakeholders that includes but is not limited to WACPCN CIU as funding providers and contract managers, the cancer registry team, Cancer Council WA and any other relevant stakeholders.
