Part B - Specifications V2 uploaded to highlight North East Waters Gas requirements "LEL, O2, CO, H2s"

North East Water (NEW) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified provider to supply Gas Sensor Monitoring unit/s (also known as units for the purpose of the Tender documentation) various NEW locations.

The units will be used to provide an early warning of the presence of gases and leading to NEW Staff enhanced personnel safety.

Monitoring remote areas is typically a common practice in NEW and can be difficult and dangerous. Therefore, its NEW preference not to install and operate conventional gas detection systems at these sites. Portable gas monitors help to solve a critical safety problem in remote applications both reliably and cost-effectively – The required specifications and relevant background is detailed in items 2 and 3 in this document.

Its NEW preference to lease the units, however, NEW will consider buying units that come with suitable service support and warranty provisions.
