Imbil STP Renewal & Upgrade Programme

Tenders are invited for the design and construction of the Imbil Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) renewal and upgrade programme.Tenders are invited from suitable qualified companies to provide a Design and Construction service for the
installation of a new screen at the entrance of the plant and the provision of replacement rotating biological
contactors (RBC’s) and their commissioning. The plant would need to remain operational throughout the
installation period and Council would work together with the selected company to ensure this could be
achieved.
The tender is structured as a design and construct Contract with separable portions for the design, supply of
equipment and the installation. Respondents are permitted to price the design and supply separable
portions A & B or, preferably, all three separable portions.

A Tender Information Session is scheduled at 11am Wednesday 30 September 2020 onsite at Imbil Sewerage Treatment Plant, Imbil Kandanga Road, Imbil - Map Link

Suitably endorsed Tenders close at the below website address at 2pm on Monday 12 October 2020. In accordance with s228(8) of the Local Government Regulation 2012 (Regulation), Council may decide not to accept any tenders it receives.

In accordance with s288(9) of the Regulation any accepted tender must be the one deemed most advantageous to Council. It is noted that the lowest price tender may not be the most advantageous.
